Business Owner:
- Responsible for ensuring the business runs smooth and efficiently
- Takes care of hiring and firing staff as well as maintaining customer satisfaction
- Meets with insurance, financial, and accounting people
- Meets with committees to set up contracts
- Learn through on the job training
- Family or family friend
- No criminal record
- Presents a friendly face to customers,
- Knows what rides take how many tickets
- Can handle money correctly
- Aware of food safety and quality
- Friendly to customers
- Must be able to handle money
- Set up food stand, prep food, take inventory and order supplies of food and non food items
- Be able to travel with the carnival
- Learn through on the job training
- No formal education required
- Help with tear down and set-up
- Report broken rides
- Be able to travel with the carnival
- Must know how to safely operate every ride, must be able to give instructions clearly to the employee they are relieving
- Must be able to inspect rides while they are running to observe any issues
- Must observe each person running rides to make sure they operate the rides safely and correctly.
